There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking in the app or in the publications it exports. This policy explains what happens to your files and the few cases where information reaches us.
Your documents
FlipTurn opens only the files you choose. It copies them into your .flipturn project and writes exports to the folder you pick. Rendering pages, extracting text, links and bookmarks, previewing and exporting all happen on your Mac. We never receive your documents, page images, text or settings.
Network use
The app runs a small web server that only this Mac can reach, so the preview can show the reader exactly as a web host will serve it. When you click a web link in the preview, it opens in your default browser. FlipTurn makes no other network requests of its own.
Publications you export
An exported publication loads every file from wherever you host it. It contains no analytics, cookies or requests to us, a CDN or any third party. Your web host may keep its own access logs; that is between you, your host and your visitors. Links in the publication, the logo link and Share go only where you set them.
Apple
Apple handles purchases and downloads from the App Store. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your Mac’s settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage totals. They do not identify you. Apple’s privacy policy covers that data.
When you email us
If you write to support, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to answer you, never share them, and delete them on request.
Children
FlipTurn collects no information from anyone, including children.
