FlipTurn
Features

Made for people who publish to their own websites.

Newsletters, catalogues, brochures and menus — authored on a Mac, read in any modern browser.

In the app

PDFs and images

Drag in a PDF, or JPEG and PNG images in the order you want. Mix them in one book.

Just the pages you need

Type a range such as 1, 3, 5–8. Reorder or remove pages afterwards in the sidebar.

Cover and spreads

The sidebar shows pages in pairs, the way the book reads. Keep the cover on its own and split pages already designed as spreads.

Your brand

Logo and destination link, background, toolbar and text colours — with native colour pickers and hex entry.

Pick the controls

Show or hide each of nine reader controls, from page numbers to sharing.

The real reader, previewed

The preview runs the same reader you export. Switch between Wide and Narrow to see desktop and phone.

Image quality

Low, Medium or High. Changing it rebuilds page images from the saved sources, and Cancel leaves your project as it was.

Presets for every edition

Save a reader look once and apply it to next month’s issue. Import and export presets to share them.

Projects that travel

A .flipturn project holds its sources, logo and settings, so it opens on another Mac without the original files. Undo works for pages and settings.

In the reader

Page turns Drag a corner, click, or use the arrow keys. Reduced motion gets a simple slide.
Fits the frame Two pages when they fit, one on phones. Swipe to turn.
Search Finds words in the PDF’s text and opens the right page.
Contents and thumbnails Bookmarks from the PDF become contents. Thumbnails group by spread.
Zoom Higher-resolution images for small print. Pinch and drag on phones.
Share and fullscreen Share gives the published address. Fullscreen falls back to a new tab where a site blocks it.
PDF download Optional. Built from your current pages, or a PDF you choose.
Reading mode The page text as plain, readable text, with full keyboard access.
The exported reader with the search panel open, listing results for the word light.

In the export

Plain static files HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images. No build step, database or server code.
Works in any folder Every path is relative, so a domain root and a nested subfolder both work.
One snippet to embed An iframe with a title and fullscreen permission, ready for any CMS HTML block.
Yours, permanently Nothing calls home. Published books keep working without the app or future updates.
